Warli painting is the traditional art form of Maharashtra which depicts village life, social events and scenes of human figures engaged in activities in a rhythmic pattern.
I believe that the Warli tribes was a set of extremely very happy people as most of the painting were themed on wedding celebration, harvesting, dancing, hunting and simple household activities. I guess these are the blessings of simple life :). But in the time of modernity peoples forget folk arts which are the heritage of India. So, i take an effort to merge the two art era - folk art and modern art in my series of creative warli paintings.
